  4. Oh Gracious God, you have blessed me through Mark and Mary Alice. Lord, I praise you for the work you continue to do through their ministry. You have promised us, Lord, that you will continue to do that good work through each of us. Lord I pray that you will shower your blessing on Mark and Mary Alice as they steward your sheep. I pray that you will guard their hearts and minds with your unfailing love. I pray that a hedge of protection be around them as they stand against our enemy. I pray that they will not falter in their dedication to you. I pray that they will always seek your face when challenges arise. I pray that they will find comfort in one another, as well as in you. Thank you for giving them to one another, for all of us are surely blessed by their love and commitment to you and each other. Lord, bless them for their continued sacrifices made in their service to you. Lord, I know they do not seek fame nor glory, but let them be reminded of our appreciation when difficulties emerge. My hope is that you continue to bless them, albeit for my own selfish hope of bearing witness to the lessons you have taught them. Lord, thank you for their desire to serve you well and all the effort they put forth into NewSpring and its outreach into the world.

    I know many can attest to this, but my life has forever been better since I became a Newspringer. Thank you for speaking Gods truth and continually using your own testimonies, even when we all understand how easy it would be to downplay our failures, our inadequacies and our shortcomings. Through this you each give a clear testimony of Gods redemptive power and relentless pursuance of each of us.

    Lord our God, thank you for enriching Mark and Mary Aliceā€™s lives for these many years. I pray a special blessing for this 40th anniversary of their arrival in the ā€œuncomfortableā€ state of Kansas. I pray their lights always shine and give a clear testimony of you. Amen.

  8. It is such a joy for us to reflect on God’s direction in our lives. Who would ever guess that a meeting at a car dealership would lead to us finding our church home and family for the past 38 years. We have watched as God molded NewSpring Church into the outreach ministry that it is today through your leadership and investment. The journey has been filled with highs and lows but always going forward by walking in God’s light. The stories of the miracles God performed and the deep waters he brought us through never get old because they always direct our attention to his great love for people and the unique ways that he accomplishes his best. We are grateful for the giftedness that God has given to each of you to provide guidance to us as staff members and to our church family as well.   15. I appreciated Mark coming to visit and pray with me and my family shortly before bypass surgery in 2017 at Ks heart hospital.
    It was such a blessing to listen to Noahā€™s window on my drive to work every morning. Thankful and blessed to have Mary Alice pray over the Noahā€™s window FAM !

  21. Wes prayed with Mark when we first started attending NewSpring over a decade ago.

    We renewed our marriage vows at your NewSpring service in August of 2020.

    We have listened to Noahā€™s window and walked through the Bible with you as a couple.

  23. It’s hard to know where to begin….the influence the two of you have had on my life since I joined Newspring back in 2008 brings me to tears every time I think about. This isn’t just about the great ministry you both provide day in and day out, (which is HUGE!), but it’s also about the fact that you “walk the walk and talk the talk” when it comes to your commitment to Newspring and specifically doing it all for the Glory of God! When I think of the many messages I’ve heard over the years, I feel like every one of them has been tailored just for me. Somehow, you both make it feel very personal….which is what has brought me closer to Jesus over the years. Yet, you are truly humble servants.
