Congratulations on your 40-year milestone. We enjoy the message you give us on TV whenever we cannot attend church. Something special is in store for you and NewSpring Church.

While you are not the reason I came to (then) Messiah Baptist Church, you ARE the reason I came back. The teaching I have received while in and out of the room at Newspring has had an incalculable impact on my life as a Christ-follower. The wisdom and stories that Mark shares, and the hospitality, strength, and helpmete example in Mary Alice have truly shaped my vision for my family and given me strength in my weakness. I hope you have enjoyed your time with us as much as we have enjoyed our time with you.

I wish I could come hear your sermons in person. I understand what you say. Seems to be in layman terms and I learn so much. Thank you. I have never been to New Spring Church. I watch your sermons on television. My husband has a bad case of anxiety and paranoia after he was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 years ago. He doesn’t live per se or go outdoors. 24/7 in this house is hard. Could u please pray for him to get better so he/we can enjoy the life that God has intended us to do. Sorry this was to be about you both.

In 2005 Carlen had lost his dream job of 15 years and was feeling lost and needed direction.
He believed in God but only attended church on holidays or if the kids were doing a program. Our daughter and her husband, (Amanda and Chris Byrd) lived in Andover and were due with their second child. Carlen was presented with a job opportunity in Wichita. God was blessing us to be close to our grandchildren.
We thought selling our house I Minnesota with everyone else that was out of work and selling in our neighborhood would be impossible, especially since it was Christmas time. It sold in a month.
By the end of January we made the move. Amanda and Chris told us about this wonderful church Messiah Baptist that they were attending and invited us to go with them. Our first time attending Carlen felt like he was hearing Gods voice through Marks words.
Carlen and our other daughter Hanna were baptized together in the first outdoor baptism you guys had.
So where I thought God brought us to Wichita to be closer to our grandchildren was really to bring Carlen and Hanna to Christ through you.
May God bless you for all you do for his kingdom here on earth and preaching his word as it was written. Thank you for your sacrifice and loyalty to New Spring. We were around when the church was shaken but you saw God’s plan and had complete faith in it.
By your willingness to be faithful New Spring is not just thriving it is bursting at the seams.

Thank you. I have been searching for the answer when someone would ask me have I been saved. I never really understood what that meant. I went all churches to find what I was looking for. I finally found the answers I was looking for when I walked into New Springs. Again thanks for all you have done to help me have the relationship with Jesus. One day I would love to tell you both in person thank you.

Thank you for being an example of a follower of Christ, preaching and standing true to what the Bible says and showing us how a marriage can weather the storms of life if you make God the foundation!

Congratulation on your 40 years. I am a senior who watches New Springs when I not able to go to my church.

I am so grateful for NewSpring and Mark and Mary Alice! These folks have a true gift for relaying the Word and bringing understanding to all it means. Real people who pass along the Truth of the Word with humility and grace. It is refreshing that even the trials and temptations in their own lives are shared with all honesty, and God is always given the Glory for the successes! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for validating my feelings when the whole world is trying to tell me I am crazy or wrong!! I LOVE YOU

I am so grateful to be hearing the word of God from some of God’s children that speak completely from the Holy Bible. I love the honesty that Mark brings and how he is firm on his foundation and belief in the Words. There is something that Mark has said throughout the years, these words have stuck in my mind and heart, and I have shared them with many people – when it comes to following and believing what the Bible says, you cannot just believe and follow parts of the Bible (the parts that you want to follow). You Must Believe and follow all of it!
Thank you Mark and Mary Alice and your entire family for being our leaders with our walk of faith during this time of our lives! If I did not have God in my life, I have no idea how I would get through each day!
I will pray that our Lord continues to guide Mark and Mary Alice as they continue
to lead our church family!

Our words can’t even express how grateful we are for you and your ministry and this church! We visited Newspring Church off and on since 2013 when we would come to town about every other month, and then, when we moved to Wichita in April 2021, we decided to make this our home church, and we’ve been going to Newspring on a regular basis ever since. Christy has been volunteering in Kidz World for over a year now, and she loves it!

Christy personally knows the challenges that a pastor and his wife face through the years with leading a church, as her father was a pastor when she was growing up. It’s a true calling from God, and we are so blessed to have you lead this church! Thank you for your dedication and love for the past 40 years! We’re looking forward to seeing what God does in the future!

I’ve been coming to New Springs since 2015 going thru a divorce Mark you are the most awesome preacher. Your preaching
is very easy to understand the bible.
I got remarried in 2019, in 2016 Bryon started coming with me.
Now we are both members of New Springs.
