I just want to say, we have been at Newspring for only a few months. I was very impressed by the services with our first visit. We do consider ourselves members of the church now. Thanks for challenging both my husband and me into looking deeper into the Bible for guidance during these chaotic times. We are going to Book by Book and finished NEXT once. I can tell that Mark and Mary Alice “wait upon the Lord” in ways that most people do not. In today’s society we are encouraged to view church as a “social club” where we go to encourage each other as Christians should. However, until attending Newspring and listening to Mark’s sermons, I did not feel the need to spend time reading the Bible and contemplating what it teaches us. Mark and Mary Alice have inspired both my husband and I to do so now. Worship at Newspring is always uplifting and joyful, which is why we look forward to attending each week.
