  1. I learn so much from your messages, but most importantly my relationship with God has grown over the years I’ve attended Newspring. I trust Him more than ever. Words are inadequate and my emotions want to run away from me when I think of the impact it’s had on my life. I SO appreciate your obedience to His callings and the time & energy you have poured into Newspring and this community – and the effect it’s had on my life and countless others.

You delivered a sermon one Sunday stating that if you are at a point you don’t know what to do get on your knees and simply say “Lord, you know” well one night several years later I was at that point and got down on my knees and said those words and received the gift of salvation. Thank you for all of the many lives you touch and God bless all of you

    Hi, you both are truly a gift and blessing to us all here in Wichita,Ks!!
    We enjoy and love your sermons and the way you share your personal stories and your own vulnerabilities not many preachers do that it truly makes a great connection with us. We Thank you for that you will never know.
    We know one day you both would like to retire but please don’t stop preaching and sharing with us even if it’s occasionally. When that time comes please know you will be terribly missed. We have soooo many notes from your sermons and our bibles from Newspring are full of markings and notes from you!!!
    You both are Gods special servants.We love having you as our church/preacher and always know that we are getting the truth!! There’s soo much more to say but can’t say it all.

  12. I am thankful for Mark and Mary Alice and for your leadership and involvement in such a vibrant, genuine, and life-changing ministry at NewSpring Church. Since I attending regularly six years ago, my faith has reached new levels and I feel closer to Jesus than ever before. My first year, I sat alone and discouraged that none of my family attended with me or knew the Christian life. Now my two grown children and their families come regularly. We have all grown in our faith tremendously due to Mark’s guidance in the Word.

    Forty years of devoted service to God is no little accomplishment and deserves so much more celebration and appreciation than we can ever express. Thank you for all you’ve given in service to Christ! We are so thankful for you both and for your family.

  14. Pastor Mark, thank you for the way you bring The Word in such a fun and inviting manner. Because if you, I have accepted Jesus, and was baptized. Having Jesus in my life has brought me closer to my husband, my friends, and my daughter who was estranged for close to a year and very addicted to fentanyl. She has been clean for almost 2 years now, and she also enjoys hearing your talks. Mary Alice, thank you for the amazing job you do with Book by Book. I never thought studying The Bible could be entertaining, but hearing you explain things is exactly that. You have both brought me closer to Jesus, and I am so thankful for each of you.

  15. We are fairly new to Newspring, about 14 months now but this ministry has made such an impact on our lives! We are excited to come to church every Sunday and our daughter asks us midweek when do we get to go back to church! We brought our out of state friends to visit with us who aren’t connected in a church but watch you every Sunday! Thank you for saying “Yes!” and listening to the Lord or else, who knows where we would be? God is so amazing!!

We have been coming here since 2008 with our two children and have learned so much about our faith and have watched you both lead by example, helping us to try to strive to having the best relationship with Jesus that we could have.
