  1. I brag about our church to anyone willing to listen. When people ask why our church is different, I tell them that our pastor teaches from the Bible, and dives deeper using background information and the original Hebrew word, no religion/politics. But most of all, I tell them that our pastor is a true fisherman of men. Truly blessed to be allowed to attend this church and listen to you teach His words.

  2. As newcomers to Newsprings, having just joined this past Easter Sunday in 2025, my family and I are incredibly grateful to have found a place where we can worship God and grow in our faith. From the very beginning, we felt the warmth and presence of a church built on love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel.

    Though we’ve only just arrived, it’s clear that the foundation and spirit of this church have been shaped by your faithful leadership over the past 40 years. Thank you for the countless hours of prayer, service, teaching, and sacrifice that have gone into building and growing this church community. Your obedience to God’s call has made a lasting impact—one we’re already blessed to be part of.

  3. Today is the 1 year anniversary of my oldest son’s father and my best friend’s death, he would have turned 40 this year. He is the one who brought me to this church 10 years ago and I cannot thank you enough for the changes I’ve made since I started coming. I got baptized here, celebrated multiple sober birthdays, I’ve cried and felt so much love in this church. Thank you for giving me and my children a place to know and honor God. I hope you would say a prayer for my sweet son Jaxon for healing and continued support in this life without his earthly father but because of this church he knows his Heavenly Father.

  6. There is so much to thank you for, but what comes to mind first is how you have invested in and prayed for our children. What a comfort to know you were on your knees for our kids and willing to set time aside to speak into their lives (particularly Isaac and Breah). We are eternally grateful for that!!! Thank you also for your vulnerability and authenticity during sermons or Noah’s window. It helps so much to be honest about ourselves in our own lives when you both are able to open up about your own struggles. What an awesome ride with the Holy Spirit it has been attending NewSpring Church these past 16 or 17 years!!! Our family loves you and your family so much!

    We now make the drive from Eureka each week, and it’s more than worth it. Our 11-year-old daughter started attending Studio 45 and told us after her first visit, “I want to keep coming here.” That was just one more confirmation that this is exactly where we’re meant to be.

I’ve been coming to NewSpring since I moved to Wichita from Georgia in 2021, got baptized here in 2022 and thank you both, along with Jonathon and Stephen for all you have done to bring so many people to and back to a relationship with Jesus.     As we celebrate this incredible milestone of your 40 years in ministry, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the profound impact you’ve had on our lives.

    Our journey with NewSpring began in the most unexpected way – discovering your messages on television from our home in Hutchinson. Week after week, we found ourselves drawn to your down-to-earth and authentic approach to sharing God’s word. Your genuine heart and relatable teaching style made us eagerly anticipate each new message, and we truly looked forward to listening every week.

    What started as watching from home became something much more meaningful when we decided to make the drive from Hutchinson to Wichita to experience NewSpring in person. That Saturday decision changed everything for us! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were embraced by the warmest, most welcoming community we could have ever hoped for.

    The incredible music ministry – your awesome band and choir – is incredible and fills our hearts with joy every time we gather. The blessed talent that flows through the worship is truly a gift that enhances every service and draws us closer to God.

    For so long, we had been searching and praying for a church family, and God led us straight to you, Mary Alice, and the entire NewSpring family. We have been truly blessed to find not just a church, but a spiritual home where we feel loved, accepted, and encouraged to grow in our faith.

    Thank you, Pastor Mark, for your four decades of faithful service, for your heart that seeks to reach people wherever they are, and for creating a community where everyone belongs. Your ministry has touched countless lives, including ours, and we are forever grateful.

  12. Thank you for your dedication to the church all these years. I know you from when I was a little girl growing up at Messiah Baptist Church for 13 years. Have very fond memories of that place and still smile when I drive around there from the wonderful memories. I am sooo grateful you had awanas and all the verses I still know by heart!   13. I want to thank you both for all that you do. I’ve been attending since august of 2024. Going through a divorce and having to completely start over has been very stressful but one thing I always looked forward to was coming to NewSpring. Not matter what. I always said I would never find a church I would feel comfortable in. I haven’t been a part of a church since I was 12. I’m 33 now. I’m so very glad that I came that day another member invited me. Now me and my two children attend new spring and it’s because of you both me and my family have a church we can call home. I’m working on giving my life to God and showing my kids through baptism (hopefully soon) I’m waiting for the day I can say I’ve gave myself 100% to the Lord. Happy anniversary!!!!!!

  14. We are your every Sunday after we go to our church online Fort Worth viewers. I had just moved from my birth city, Wichita in 1986 to Fort Worth and JUST MISSED Y’all! Darn! Anyway, my Aunt Marylee Evans and Uncle Duke first brought us to NewSpring when you moved to the new location. We visit whenever we are in town and I’ve even chatted with your worship team since I play the Nord Stage 3 keyboard at my church, and we’ve been to the Andover concert nights. Just LOVE everything about NewSpring and thank the Lord for you because my Uncle Duke just got saved in his 80’s and passed away this year in February. God continue to magnify Himself through your ministry.

    I once was lost…
    Then guest services handed me a map, a name tag . and a dangerously hot cup of coffee.
    Now I’m found—and slightly over-caffeinated, but spiritually alive.

    Honestly, it’s been amazing to see how much the church has grown. From the parking lot crew doing traffic ballet to kids’ ministry somehow surviving snack time—it’s clear God is doing something big here. And I’m just grateful to be part of it (even if I still occasionally get lost looking for the right classroom).

    Thank you for leading with heart, vision, and just the right amount of jokes to keep us entertained
    This place feels like home.

I have been going to this church my entire life, which isn’t a huge amount of time, but nonetheless this church has made a profound impact in shaping who I am as a person today and my faith journey. This church being the grounding of my faith and the stable truth during life’s uncertainties is a great depiction of the fact that Jesus never changes either.

  25. Congratulations and THANK YOU for leading and thereby creating an amazing environment for my entire family! Our first service was the Christmas before the 737 was hanging in the auditorium. We came because our 4 year old son needed his soul fed and we found something for all of us! But we fell in love with NewSpring during COVID. Your team’s online presence and engagement with the kids via social media and personal calls and shoutouts during that time was such a blessing. We wish you both 40 more years of blessings and spirit filled leadership.
