    You have been such a blessing to Rachel and I, and our kids. We look forward to worshiping at Newspring every weekend and love feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit at work in the building! That experience is truly humbling and powerful. We are thankful for your service here and thankful for the impact Stephen and Jonathan have had on our lives, too. Rachel and I took the SYMBIS class with Jonathan, and Stephen married us (we were Stephen’s first wedding)! Again, we pray that Jesus continues to work thru you both, and you continue to make an impact on people all across the world! Thank you, and may God continue to bless you and your works!

  5. We moved to Wichita in 2018 and attended NewSpring the first Sunday we were here. Mark was preaching a Clash series at the time, but the message that Sunday was pre-recorded. My husband and I knew we had found our church”home” the first time we came. Our daughter had a health crisis in 2020 and had a procedure on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately they were not able to take her off the ventilator after her procedure so she was taken to the ICU. I texted a prayer request to NewSpring after I left the hospital that day and woke up Christmas Morning to a call from you. I can’t tell you what that call meant to me. The fact that you two would take time Christmas Morning to pray with me was the greatest gift I could have received. I am for ever thankful for you and the way you two love Jesus and God’s people. May God bless you both with many more years leading us all at NewSpring!

  6. I am so thankful to both of you for your servant spirits, your love for God and each other, and your love for this church body. I had the privilege of becoming friends with Jonathan and Wendy when we were all attending FBC in Edmond. If not for that connection, I might not have ventured into such a large church when I married my husband, Greg, which is what brought me to Derby. Jonathan even married us which was a gift from God. Thank you for all of your sacrifices for those of us who call Newspring home.

  9. I have been coming to NewSpring well over 15 years. Our kids are now teens and volunteering when we started they were babies! I am so thankful for the atmosphere that Mark and Mary Alice have created! My family always feels welcome and seen. I am thankful for the sermons Mark brings each week and how they speak to you.   10. Today was my first service at New Spring. I was so moved I decided I needed to come back for the 6:30 celebration. I just want to say Thank You! Everyones faith journey is different and to hear you today and how you struggle yourself touched me. I have PTSD and anxiety and walking in alone today was very overwhelming. Everyone was very welcoming and I finally felt as though I was home.

  11. Thank you for always delivering meaningful sermons each and every week. I always look forward to coming to church each week. I have struggled for years to have a relationship with God after losing my father at the age of 19. I would try to go to church, but it was tough and I would end up leaving. 11 years ago when I met my husband his family invited me to NewSpring. It wasn’t until the last couple of years that I have faithfully been coming. I was diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd and 3rd time. I honestly feel that God has been here with me along this tough journey. When I originally got diagnosed in 2021 I didn’t come to church each week and I felt so alone and scared. Since coming weekly, reading my weekly devotional and praying I have felt more at peace. Thank you for being so real and making it a wonderful experience.

  12. Thank you both for your faith and willingness to follow where God leads you. Kansas may not have been on the radar at first, but what a blessing you have been and continue to be to NewSpring and the Wichita community. God’s handiwork is written all over your lives and it shows to those who meet you for the first time. As a member of this church for 20 years, I couldn’t imagine a better church home with the amazing leadership you both bring. 40 years and it seems to just get sweeter as time goes on.   13. Thank you so much for the impact on my life. I’ve been attending newspring now for 23 years. When I was in 6th grade, you said “this is going to be the biggest series I’ve ever preached” 🤣. I remember it was on evolution and disproving it. So I went home and told my parents we need to go! It’s his biggest sermon yet! So we all came and haven’t stopped coming since! The church has changed so much since the green pews! 🤣. I can vividly remember Lance and the amazing team you had when Lance left, I was so worried about how we would ever replace him… and now here we are. I don’t want to say “better” because it has been so great the entire time. But man I’m so thankful for the team we have now! God has done incredible things through you guys! Thank you so much!

  21. Pastor Mark, we just recently started attending Newspring when we moved to Wichita 2 years ago. Beyond your sermons that personally teach us the word of God, one area where we’ve really been blessed by you is your honesty in sharing your ADD and anxiety professions. Our son is 12 and struggles with ADHD and anxiety. He has often shared with us that he doesn’t believe in God because God wouldn’t make someone go through as many hardships as he’s had to face with these two diagnoses. With your raw honesty, we have had the opportunity to share your commentary with him. He’s recently wanted to listen to your sermons over attending kids church, and we’ve been grateful that there is a small connection where he is open to hearing the word from a person who he knows has shared some of the same struggles. Thank you for your work! You have no idea how many people you are touching on a daily basis! Much love!

    Since the first time I brought my family to NewSpring in 2019 we have grown spiritually and felt safe and happy attending church. It’s not just a routine, it’s a refresher every time. We spent 10 years searching for a church home and God told me this one was it before our first visit. My husband and both of my teens were baptized at NewSpring and it was a huge blessing to our family. I carry Pastor Marks words with me throughout my daily life which truly helps me be a better Christian. Thank you for the dedication and deep love you share through ever single series and message you bring. Although Mary Alice is behind the scenes, I know she pours herself into everything, thank you both. Congratulations on 40 years! May God bless you and yours for many years to come. 🩷
