  1. Pastor Mark and Mary Alice, thank you for you’re faithful commitment to God and to what He has called you to! No one said it was going to be easy, but “at just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9). God has used your family to impact so many lives, including my own family! Thank you for always encouraging us and loving us, even when we lived across the country. You were someone my parents could turn to for help and wisdom when living in a state without a solid church. My parents would always tell my sister and me stories about NewSpring, and now, since 2017, we have been able to be part of this amazing church family! God has been using your family and this church to change many lives. Through every weekend, weekday, and event, God is working through NewSpring to reach the lost and encourage those who are found.
    Pastor Mark and Mary Alice, thank you for your faithfulness to God and courage to let Him lead you into the unknown! We love you guys!

  5. 1 Peter 5:4
    And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

    I do not know how our Lord will work have the process in 1 Peter 5:4, but I very much suspect Mary Alice will be right there with you and we will rejoice for God’s work in and through you, instruments of righteousness in His right hand.

    The visible care and provisions from God are abundantly evident at NewSpring, amazing to behold and a blessing to be part of His work. But I am sure the most amazing thing to all of us is the hundreds of thousands of people God has touched through His work at NewSpring.

    A few more verses I like to pray and consider:
    Malachi 2: 5-7
    “My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him as an object of reverence; so he revered Me and stood in awe of My name. “True instruction was in his mouth and unrighteousness was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many back from iniquity. “For the lips of a priest should preserve knowledge, and men should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.”

    1 Timothy 5:17; 1 Thess. 5: 12,13a
    The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching. But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work.

    Thank you Mark and Mary Alice for being in service to our great God and Savior. We esteem you very highly in love because of who you are, your family, and being our leaders who very dearly and diligently hold to God’s word. I know we have a shepherd who is after God’s heart (Jer. 3:15).

    Thank you for leading NewSpring and for being authentic, real! You are both such a blessing! Thank both for your support and encouragement throughout the years! Thank you for the passion you both share to help the church to grow in God’s Word and to learn to study it for ourselves! Noah’s Window and Book by Book, have changed my life by helping me strengthen my walk with God, by getting to know His Word even more and to know Jesus more deeply, through His word! NewSpring teaching and various ministries have helped me become the kind of person I want my children to be, so that I have been able to model that for them. Even when I have made mistakes to show them humility in seeking God’s forgiveness and theirs.

    I pray God continues bless you both and use you, that you will continue to always seek Him, His will and obey His leading!

  8. Dear Pastor Mark and Mary Alice,

    Thank you so much for bringing me into a deeper understanding that God loves me and that Jesus Christ went to the cross to bear my sins. Since watching your sermons on TV a year or so ago I have participated in Through the Valley, Life at NewSpring, a NEXT group, and was baptized in February of this year. I have found myself growing on such a deeper spiritual level than I have ever known before and have found your sermons and a couple of Book by Book sessions to be so inspiring and encouraging me to live my life following the Word and the example of Jesus Christ in my daily living.   9. Dear Pastor Mark and Mary Alice,

    Thank you so much for your love, devotion, and spiritual leadership. I (Rachel) first attended New Spring two years ago through the Divorce Care group. Having grown up in a church, I was deeply afraid of being shunned for going through a divorce. What I found instead was a church deeply immersed in God’s grace with an unwavering commitment to preaching God’s word. Jonathan and Wendy’s ministry quickly led me to attending weekly, volunteering in the nursery, and seeking baptism in August 2024. When Jeremy and I first started dating, I told him that he would have to attend New Spring with me if he was serious about dating me, because I wasn’t going anywhere else (!). Together, we have gone through the Symbis course, completed counseling sessions with Jonathan and Wendy, and entered into marriage on Valentine’s Day this year with Jonathan marrying us. Your family has been such a blessing to our lives as God continues to weave our broken pieces back together for HIs glory. Thank you for being real. Thank you for being fully committed to God’s truth and preaching the Bible. Thank you for loving so radically and preaching God’s greatest love story. Both of our lives have been profoundly changed because of the ministries at New Spring. Each week, your sermons bring deeper clarity and understanding to the Bible and challenge us to grow in our spiritual walks. Thank you for your ministry, your deep love for leading the lost (including me!) to Jesus, and for always pointing us to Him. May God continue to richly bless your marriage, your ministry, and your precious family. You are all in our prayers daily. We are so grateful for you both.

  10. Congratulations on 40 awesome years!!! I can’t find enough words to express how grateful I am for both of you. Before I came to Newspring, I used to listen to you Mark on the radio after leaving my church at the time. I always learned so much. In 2007 God directed me to attend Newspring and have been there ever since. God has anointed you in a very powerful way to bring His Word to life in truth and boldness. I so appreciate your humbleness and honesty. It has been such a privilege to be a part of Newspring and watch God work. And Mary Alice, I appreciate you as well. I have learned so much from you. Mark I suffer from OCD and schizophrenia and anxiety and depression and I so appreciate your willingness to publicly share about your struggles and your nervous breakdown!   20. Before I boomeranged back home to Wichita, after living out of state for 11 years, I began searching for a church to attend. Living in Arizona, I saw several people in Wichita mention attending Newspring. I began attending online and then in person once I moved home. My step-dad converted from Catholicism as a ‘cradle catholic’ after attending Newspring. Recently, my step-sister raised her hand to accept Jesus into her heart while attending as a visitor. My first date with my now husband was to a Wednesday service here. Thank you for touching all the hearts in my family at one point. Thank you for the presence you bring to Wichita. May the blessings upon you be multiplied ten fold for what you’ve given to all of us!
