I am 68 years old and have searched for a church to call home for years. Thanks to you, I have finally found it! Your messages are practical, understandable, meaningful and are obviously God directed. I can’t thank you enough for all you do for New Spring and our community. God is so good and I am so thankful and blessed. Thank you both!

Thank you, Mark and Mary Alice, for the love you have for God and the people of NewSpring church. Through your obedience to the Lord, you have painstakingly created a community where we can learn and grow in the faith together. I am so thankful to have found a church home where I can thrive and navigate this world through a biblical lens. I am honored to pray for you both and for your family.

I Appreciate you TWO so much. I am 85 years old and know that God has walked, protected me since Birth. I’ve been seeking HIS truth for as long. I feel I have found this though your Love given though “Book by Book” Leadership. May you forever be Blessed!

Your leadership has been a beacon of God’s love, guiding not only the church family but also shaping the lives of individuals and generations including my own children. Through your words, actions, and unwavering faith, you’ve helped plant seeds of hope, love, and purpose in our hearts. Your ministry has strengthened our walk with Christ and built a legacy of faith that will live on. Thank you for pouring so much of yourselves into this community. We are forever grateful for your example, your love, and your commitment to God’s calling.

It’s been an amazing journey these 40 years, I cannot believe it’s gone by so fast. Thank you for being here and continuing to follow God. Thank you for being true to the word of God no matter what anyone thinks.

I know you went through a rough time in 2004 and I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I was enjoying the change myself. I’m glad we are not the way we were anymore.

My husband and I began attending NewSpring in 2004, shortly after we were there for a funeral service for my daughter’s mother-in-law. Mark barely knew that family; however, the service/sermon was beautiful, sincere and moving. From that day, we decided to attend. My husband actually worked in Security for a while. He passed away with Covid, but I still do attend – sometimes in person but always on-line if not in person. Mark, you have brought me so much joy listening to what you are led to present to the congregation. But even above that, I am certainly so much stronger in my faith because of your sermons. I’ve been in Church all my life, and sometimes I have found my mind wandering but never at NewSpring. I hang on every word honestly. And I can’t wait until it’s time to go to Church every week!
Thank you, Mary Alice, for your brilliant teaching and knowledge that you share. I’m presently attending Book by Book and am trying to always have my homework done! I wish I had started with you in the New Testament, but I know I can go back and find all of that on-line, which I plan to do.

Congratulations on 40 years! We live in Moore, Oklahoma have been watching NewSpring online for over 2 years. We have been able to attend service in Wichita a couple times, and we just love NewSpring. Thank you for the wonderful worship services!

I remember Jarilyn & Juli attending youth group and services when they were in high school. They always said, “It’s like Pastor Mark is speaking to me!”
Love it that is where they met their spouses and now both of them work at New Spring & love it there! I’m so glad to now be a part of New Spring too! Love this church and the people so much! I have attended NewSpring since 2008, and served since 2015. My husband has attended at NewSpring and served since 2020. What a blessing it is to serve with the Older Toddler class!

As someone (Beth) who was in an abusive long term marriage, I felt that our church (through your teachings) supported divorce in this circumstance (of course with years of prayers and counseling) and didn’t look down on me. After several years of learning who I was in Christ and surrendering my life to Him in a new way, God brought a godly man, Kim, into my life and is now my amazing God-fearing Husband.

Recently you had a sermon which was titled “Whoever said I wanted you to be Comfortable?”. This sermon really spoke to both Kim and I. We are both retired, and we’re busy with remodeling our home, some traveling, and spending time with kids and grandkids. Last October, our granddaughter, Maddie Kaufman, was diagnosed with an inoperable, and untreatable brain tumor. Our world was flipped upside down. We can look back and see how God knew that we both needed to be retired. I’m available to help my daughter (Andrea) and her kids. My husband is a retired mechanic, so he has been volunteering at my son-in-law’s (Jayson’s) auto mechanic shop. God also knew I needed to marry an auto mechanic (lol)! We thought we would have a “comfortable” retirement, but God is using us in some uncomfortable, but important and rewarding ways. We wouldn’t want to do anything else at this time. Thank you for speaking to us through this sermon.

We appreciate the way you always speak the truth in love, in such a confusing world that we currently live in. God has been using you both in such amazing ways, and we just want you both to know how much we love and appreciate you!

We came to visit approximately 17 years ago after being referred by a person attending at the time. What an amazing gift from God to be led to a church that is so committed to service to our Lord daily! Thank you Mark and Mary Alice for all you have done to lead the staff and volunteers to serve and provide the church that teaches what Gods word says!

Pastor Mark & Mary Alice…..I’m going to call myself even after 16 years at Newspring, a newbie; because I came from the calling God gave you to build Newspring! I’m forever grateful my fairly new neighbors, Jack & Patti Finlason, kept asking & giving me cards of the messages. They did for almost 2 years before I started asking questions. My son Neal & I started going the Christmas after you had returned from your time away. I learned in the next series, The Valley, about that, as you shared part of your story & that’s when that 1st arrow pierced my heart…and I knew God was working on me thru you & my neighbors…as I too had just had a breakdown after my father’s death & the 3 long years of it breaking up my family & thru a legal situation with the estate. That series…led me to God. My son & I were both baptized at Newspring. As I reflect on it all…I am forever grateful to you both. Mary Alice while I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting you or interacting with you; you’re just as responsible for how I feel about Newspring. The city of Wichita is truly blessed that you grew your ministry here! I’m truly blessed that you followed God’s calling to build Newspring. And I’m forever grateful I finally was curious enough to finally ask Patti the questions that had me walk thru those doors when I did. God’s hands were all over it & I know now I my soul & heart were open to listening.
It has changed me forever!
