  1. Dear Mark & Mary Alice, Finding Newspring saved my life. I was adrift as I dealt with life but Newspring grounded my spiritual side. Of course I am a work in progress but I’m so very thankful for the messages that restore my faith. I admire the relationship you model and I am astounded at the beautiful ministry you lead. Bravo you masterful servants of God! 🙏

    Here are a few adjectives to describe the traits in you both that inspire me: Steadfast, transparent, strong, empathetic, kind, humble, honorable, true to the Word of God, committed to the Truth. How blessed we are to sit under your teaching.

  8. Your lifelong dedication for this ministry are surely recognized . You (or members) have built a different church for local community and world. I’ve learnt so much and wish I could share it to where I coming from, S. Korea. S. Korea has good church foundation built by US and UK missionaries. It has so much westernized and developed past 20-30 years, and churches need to meet people where they at instead of people to fit. You and Newspring certainly show to the world. This is a church of broken people who love God and desire to bring other broken people to Jesus. Through Mark’s humble testimony and Mary Alice’s support, your willingness to be used by God was significantly instrumental in bringing our family closer to God and thus closer together. I was a cradle Catholic and until four years ago when I first came to Newspring, I felt no true connection to God even though I had 13 years of Catholic school. You showed me how to have a real and genuine relationship with God. You showed my how to be and feel saved. Thank you and God bless you!

Mark I did debate in high school also and can relate to the analogies you bring to get God’s word across to us during service. When I am at Newspring I feel complete and know I’m doing the right thing by Jesus.

    I happen to feel the same way as Judge Paul Clark felt in 2004 “I believe when Mark speaks, God speaks through him, I’ll just stay with him”.

  20. Thank you for your ministry, thoughtfulness, and compassion. Without the support, the sermons, and programs at NewSpring with you at the foundation of it all, I don’t know how I would have made it through the past few years! My biggest mom fail with my oldest daughter was not bringing her up with God as a priority. He was always present in our lives, but I didn’t teach her like I should have, and we didn’t attend church regularly. It wasn’t until I found NewSpring that I ever even enjoyed going to church. Thankfully, my youngest daughter was still at home and attended church with us and made the decision to be saved and baptized at NewSpring! I am confident that she is with God in heaven because of this. Just last Sunday after church, my oldest daughter signed up for Watermark during the service. I am so thankful and blessed to have found NewSpring! There are truly not enough words to express my gratitude sufficiently! Thank you so very much!!!
